Risk Disclosure

You can lose money, quickly
Crypto derivatives are volatile and use leverage. Selling options in particular can lose far more than the premium you collect. Only trade what you can afford to lose, and only products you understand. Check that they are allowed where you live.
Automation adds its own risks
- A strategy does what its rules say, including when those rules are wrong or the market has changed.
- Mistakes in a strategy, or in AlgoDelta itself, can place orders you didn't intend.
- Orders can fill at worse prices than expected, partly, or not at all, especially in thin option markets.
Past results don't predict future ones
Backtests use real Delta history, but they are still simulations. They can't capture every effect of your orders on the market, and a strategy that looks good on past data can fail. Paper trading uses live prices but simulated fills. Neither guarantees live results.
The server can fail
AlgoDelta runs on a single server. It can restart, lose its connection or go down. While it is down it can't run stop-losses it manages itself, time-based exits, or re-entries. Only stops placed on the exchange keep working. Keep exchange-side stops on, and know how to see and close your positions directly on Delta Exchange.
Other things outside our control
- Delta Exchange can have outages, change its rules or products, reject orders, or liquidate positions.
- If your API key is revoked, restricted or your IP allow-list changes, AlgoDelta can no longer manage your positions.
- If someone gets into your email account, they could log in as you. Secure your email and give your API key trading permission only.
This isn't advice
Nothing in AlgoDelta is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Templates show what the software can do, and are not recommendations. AlgoDelta is not affiliated with Delta Exchange.
