Terms of Use

What AlgoDelta is
AlgoDelta is software that runs trading strategies you define, on your own Delta Exchange account, using an API key you provide. By using it you agree to these terms and to the Risk Disclosure.
It is a tool, not advice
AlgoDelta does not give investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and does not recommend any trade. Templates and examples show how the software works. They are not suggestions to trade them. You decide what to run, and you are responsible for every order placed under your key.
Who can use it
- You must be an adult, and allowed by the laws where you live to trade the products you trade.
- Access is by approval. We can decline a request.
- One person, one account. Keep access to your email secure, because your email is how you log in.
- Use only API keys that belong to you. The same key can't be used on two accounts.
Your API key
Create a key with the permissions AlgoDelta needs and no more. Withdrawal permission is never needed. You can revoke a key on Delta Exchange at any time. If you do while a strategy holds a position, that position can no longer be managed by AlgoDelta and is yours to manage directly on Delta.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to reach anyone else's data, or get around limits or security.
- Don't use AlgoDelta to break the law or Delta Exchange's rules, including its API terms.
- Don't put excessive load on the service, or resell it, without our written agreement.
Limits and availability
Each account has limits on deployments, backtests and storage, which we may change. New entries can be paused across the platform during maintenance or an incident. Open positions keep being managed whenever the service is running, but the service runs on a single server and can fail. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. See the Risk Disclosure for what that means for open positions.
Suspension and closing your account
We can suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. If you hold positions when that happens, an administrator will either keep them managed until they exit or square them off, and we will email you. You can always see and close your positions directly on Delta Exchange.
You can delete your account in Settings once you have no open positions. Your API keys, strategies, backtests and settings are removed. See the Privacy Policy.
Price
AlgoDelta is free during early access. If we introduce charges, we will tell you in advance, and you can leave before they apply.
No warranty, and limits on liability
AlgoDelta is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, missed trades, or indirect or consequential losses, including losses caused by software errors, downtime, exchange outages, wrong or delayed market data, or actions taken by Delta Exchange. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Not affiliated with Delta Exchange
AlgoDelta is independent. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Delta Exchange. Your trading relationship is with Delta Exchange and is governed by its terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, you'll be asked to accept the new version before starting anything new. Viewing or closing a position never depends on it.
